How do we handle division?
About the Christ, "They were deeply divided in their beliefs about Jesus."

If you want to get down to basics, the Bible is about the division of Good vs. Evil. Taking refuge in our Lord won't always end division, but it will give us more peace dealing with it and will make it easier to pray for our own conversion and for those we don't agree with.
Steve Hessman's reflections: "Amen, Amen. Unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains just a grain of wheat; but if it dies, it produces much fruit." John 12:24
God’s power doesn’t look like we think it should

There is not one source for our answer. There are many, and they will all help to point us in the right direction. The gift of faith from the Father in our hearts reminds us to trust God. The Eucharist on our tongue should align us to a life of sacrifice and service. And the indwelling Spirit should whisper which way we should go.
John Pearring's reflections: He said to them, “Ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest." (Luke 10:2)
The truth Jesus spoke was painful
But it was a truth they - and we - needed to know
By Steve Hall

Click here to read Steve Hall’s reflection from April 5, 2025. Here's an excerpt:
What hurts is not always bad; what is pleasant is not always good. The truth may hurt; but it is the truth we need to know. The truth Jesus spoke in criticism of the Scribes and Pharisees was a painful truth; but it was a truth they needed to know. Similar truths may also be in God’s e-mails to us.
Steve Hall's reflections: For our knowledge is imperfect and our prophecy is imperfect; but when the perfect comes, the imperfect will pass away. (1 Corinthians 13:9)
